Until one day a friend asked her if I’ve ever thought of putting that on the computer. Alysha realised her friend had said

This is a little guide to explain the different colour values. They are CMYK, RGB, HEX and Pantone. These terms are explained below and provide you with an idea when they should be used. This is especially helpful if you require printing for merchandise or whether you want to know about it from a digital perspective.
RGB
Stands for “Red Green Blue.” RGB refers to three hues of light that can be mixed to create different colours. Combining red, green, and blue light is the standard method of producing colour images on screens, such as TVs, computer monitors, and smartphone screens.
Best use: Digital
CMYK
Stands for “Cyan Magenta Yellow Black.” These are the four basic colours used for printing colour images. Unlike RGB which is used for creating images on your computer screen, CMYK colours are ‘subtractive.’ This means the colours get darker as you blend them together.
Best use: Print
HEX
Stands for hexadecimal colour that is expressed as a six-digit combination of numbers and letters defined by its mix of red, green and blue (RGB). Basically, a HEX colour code is shorthand for its RGB values with a little conversion gymnastics in between.
Best use: Digital (web)
PMS
Also called Pantone®, colour swatches are produced exclusively by Pantone to pick the colours, and printers refer to the same swatches. This ensures everyone works to the exact same PMS colour no matter where they are.
Best use: print.
(For offset printing only. Ideal for stationery. Often used in one or two-colour jobs. Also used as spot colours on premium brochures in addition to four-colour process.)
-
The resolution of an image is expressed in dpi, which is the acronym for dots (or pixels) per inch. So if you see 72dpi it means that the image will have 72pixels per inch. For printing there are 300 dots per inch that the printer deposits on a piece of paper.
This is always an important topic and these are the most basic parameters when it comes to print or digital..
Digital 72dpi
Print 300dpi

We don’t offer ‘just a logo’. The reason for this is we believe your business brand is more than just a logo. It includes so much more, such as what typography you use, the colour palette, and the imagery. Not to mention, the non-visual items of a brand, such as messaging, language, strategy. Think of it like this, you walk into McDonalds and if they didn’t use the common theme of red and yellow coupled with the consistency of imagery, typeface of the M and matching typeface, you would literally think it’s a different place. That’s what branding is! You don’t want to cause confusion in your customers. You want to be 100% recognisable – all the time.
There is much more involved in creating a brand: it's using visual communication with consistency that creates trust, awareness and value to make a memorable impression on your audience. We are excited to embark on this journey with you and your business!

When creating any new concept illustration, a lot of time is dedicated to the concept and most people don’t see behind the scenes and the time it takes to develop the concept. This is the creative process and is dependent on many factors. This can include the size of the project, the timeline and customer feedback.
