Drawing inspiration from basketball and Alysha’s childhood experiences playing the sport, we explored the dynamic use of bright colours and patterns reminiscent of courts and balls, similar to the approaches taken by big known name brands like Nike and Adidas, but changing it to suite Courtside Fitness and the brief. For the logo, we delved into creatively combining the letters 'C' and 'F' to evoke motion, resembling a ball—a design choice that aligns with Courtside Fitness's commitment to enhancing the athletic development of its members. In terms of the mural illustrations, we used the bright geometric shapes set against portraits of sports icons like Muhammad Ali and Kobe Bryant in black and white, creating a striking contrast with the vibrant patterns and colours. These illustrations of sports people where treated and common licensed photos only used.
